Beginner Classes

Discover Scuba Diving

Want to find out what scuba diving is like before deciding to get your PADI Open Water scuba diving certification? During the Discover Scuba Diving Experience, you can try scuba diving for the first time in a pool.

Our highly-trained PADI Professionals will provide you with scuba gear, explain basic scuba diving skills, and answer any questions you may have.

Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment. We teach exclusively in drysuits so you don’t have to worry about being cold.

By the end of the course you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive here or abroad. Then you can be an ambassador for the underwater world!

Open Water Referrals

If your schedule dose not line up with ours or if you plan on diving only on vacation, our PADI Open Water Referral Program might be right for you.

You will complete the digital eLearning, class work, and pool sessions here first. You will then complete the Open Water Dives at your destination.

Call the shop for information on pricing and scheduling.

Continuing Education

Advanced Open Water

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. You'll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it's like a specialty sampler platter). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI specialty certifications.

Rescue Diver

The PADI® Rescue Diver course will change the way you dive – in the best possible way. Learn to identify and fix minor issues before they become big problems, gain a lot of confidence, and have serious fun along the way.

Discover why countless divers say Rescue Diver is their favorite scuba course.

Dry Suit

Tired of being cold and wet on the surface after your dive? Unlike wetsuits, drysuits are filled with air keeping you warm and dry. During your drysuit course your instructor will teach you how to control the air in your drysuit along with your buoyancy.

You'll also learn about different types of drysuits, basic drysuit repairs, and maintenance.

Nitrox

Enriched Air , also known as Nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals.

PADI First Aid Courses

Emergency Oxygen Provider

Knowing how and when to administer emergency oxygen is a valuable skill to have in a dive emergency. The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Course prepares you to offer aid and teaches you to recognize scuba diving injuries and illnesses requiring emergency oxygen.

EFR First Aid, CPR & AED

Whether it’s being on the scene of an accident or witnessing a medical emergency, most people will be involved in a crisis at some point in their lives. First aid training and incident management skills empower people to step up and take action should these situations arise.

DAN First Aid

Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries

Administering emergency oxygen is the preferred first aid for scuba diving injuries, and early administration can drastically improve the outcome for an injured diver. The DAN Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries course teaches you how to administer life-saving oxygen first aid to divers who may be suffering from decompression illness (DCI). Additionally, this course will teach you how to recognize the signs and symptoms of decompression illness and respond to them accordingly. The emergency response skills taught in this course are not unique to scuba diving; they’re applicable to many other watersports and other activities.

Basic Life Support: CPR and First Aid (BLS)

This fundamental course prepares you to provide proper care for life-threatening illnesses or injuries until professional emergency medical care is available. The life-support skills taught in this course include one and two-rescuer CPR for adults, children and infants. Use of automatic external defibrillators, bleeding management, assisting choking victims and responding to a person in shock. The first aid skills taught include conducting secondary assessments, splinting and responding to medical emergencies.

Diving First Aid for Professional Divers (DFA Pro)

Professional divers have unique responsibilities and a duty to respond to unique situations; their first aid training should not be any less unique. DAN’s Diving First Aid for Professional Divers course is designed for commercial, professional, aquarium, and scientific divers, and it provides knowledge and first aid skills specifically for these work environments.

DFA Pro includes all elements of the DAN BLS and EO2 courses and includes material on neurological assessment and first aid for hazardous marine life injuries.  Recognizing symptoms and responding quickly can shorten recovery times and improve long-term outcomes.

DFA Pro is the most comprehensive first aid course in the dive industry.  While geared toward dive instructors and divemasters, anyone, even nondivers, will learn an indispensable set of first aid and  risk-mitigation skills.
